This is a hybrid print made up of a collagraph base layer and handcut copperplate, aquatint etching.

All my work starts with drawing.

I aim to capture the movement and energy of the birds.

The backgrounds are created using recycled bits of card or packaging and loose gestural marks to convey an atmosphere of a familiar rural scene.

Each print takes time to create and is not a process one can rush.

Printed as a small and precious edition of just 20 (all artwork signed and numbered)

Printed on Snowden 300 gsm paper
